The Pensions and Administration Standards Association (Pasa) has appointed Emma Watkins as a new board director.
Watkins has many years of experience in the pensions industry as an administrator, consultant, insurer and trustee, and is currently Scottish Widows managing director retirement and longstanding. She will join Pasa as an additional director following the decision to expand the board in light of the association's increased presence and activity in the industry.
Capita Cranfield has announced the appointment of Amanda Hamilton-Stanley as a professional trustee.
Hamilton-Stanley, who is a qualified lawyer, joins from Pernod Ricar where she was group general counsel and compliance officer. Prior to this, she served for a decade as Allied Democq Pension Fund trustee director, which saw her work on a £3.8bn buy-in. The news also follows the recent appointment of John Bannister as a professional trustee
Barnett Waddingham has named Pallavi Aston as partner and senior investment consultant.
Aston will be responsible for providing investment advice to trustees, including risk management, asset allocation and endgame solutions. She brings more than 18 years’ experience to the role and joins from Isio, where she held various leadership roles, including director. Prior to this, she also held senior management roles in the investment consulting divisions of both Willis Towers Watson and Hymans Robertson.
