Appointments update - 10 March 2023

TPT Retirement Solutions has promoted Dominic Sutton and Ashley Price to its Executive Board.

Sutton was promoted to the role of finance director, having previously served as TPT’s head of finance since he joined the company in January 2020. He has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting across various industries, including insurance and debt management, both in the UK and overseas. Price, meanwhile, has been appointed as operations director. He joined TPT in October 2021 having previously held director positions with Yorkshire Building Society in both commercial and operational roles, also working on a number of workplace savings initiatives with the Money & Pensions Service.

XPS Pensions Group has named Dan Carpenter as a partner in its investment team.

He joins from Aon and brings more than 20 years’ investment experience to the role, having advised schemes of all sizes on every aspect of investment strategy and implementation. In his new role, he will advise clients on investment strategy, and will bring his experience to bear to contribute to the ongoing rapid growth of the Investment practice. Commenting on his appointment, Carpenter stated: “It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining XPS. The business’s collaborative culture and focus on client relationships are solidifying its growth, built on strong and lasting client relationships.”

Broadstone has announced the appointment of Kylie Arbon as head of transformation.

Arbon will lead the integration of current and future acquisitions within the firm’s consulting & actuarial business as well as maintaining the automation of Broadstone’s primary client functions, including its Sirius platform. She brings over 12 years of experience in the pensions industry as an actuary and consultant, having worked at BBS Consultants & Actuaries from 2011 before it was acquired by Broadstone in 2019. Commenting on the appointment, Arbon stated: “I am excited to be leading the integration and standardisation of our client offering as we continually seek to streamline and improve our capabilities."
