As the permanent Senior Systems Development specialist you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the configuration of the Intellipen Pensions Admin software platform within Member Services. A key part of your new role will be working with Procentia and the Member Services support team to maintain and improve the use of Intellipen. Our client, one of the UK's largest in-house pension schemes, has stated that experience of the company Procentia and their products is vital. Procentia are developers of the IntelliPen/Intelliplan family of pension products.

You will provide technical expertise on the configuration and running of the Pensions Administration System Intellipen including workflows, reporting, document production, member portal and calculations. You will ensure that all development projects meet business requirements, fulfil end user requirements, and resolve system issues. You will check the team manages systems incidents and carry out route cause analysis to avoid future systems incidents. Develop and implement plans to improve system functionality and effectiveness in line with business priorities. Coach and provide technical guidance to others in order to build the Member Services internal systems development capability. Work in partnership with internal project and change teams, and external contractors to deliver system improvements and improved member experience.

You will be joining a dynamic work environment and need to have a positive and professional attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work to deadlines under pressure and manage workloads accordingly. Projects are often on large scales and experience of BI & MI reporting software such as Power Bi will be advantageous. You will be used to change and have the ability to adapt to complex programs and updating technology, with a disciplined approach to working with technology including testing. Your strong IT experience, hopefully currently or recently, will be more specific to Defined Benefit Pension Schemes.

You will have a past/current track record of working in Pensions and Technology, and be experienced in all aspects of the Intellipen platform – including calculations, workflows, reporting, payroll & finance, document production and Intellisite. You will possess knowledge of SQL and MS Office. Please only apply if you have past/current experience of Procentia/Intellipen.
