About the role

The role will see you taking the lead on all of the Funds medium to large projects as the project manager, organising planning and executing projects while working within constraints, such as budget and resource.

You will be responsible for defining project goals, leading the entire project team, arranging checkpoint meetings and reporting on progress back to the management team. The role will require you to be involved in the execution of some projects and this will be very varied from creating webpages and online forms to reviewing standard letters.

You will be required to liaise and work with other managers of the Operations Team to identify and agree the feasibility of projects.

About you

You will ideally have been a pensions administrator for at least three years with knowledge of defined benefits pensions schemes and looking to progress your career in a more dynamic project environment.

You will have had previous involvement in projects and familiar with generic tools such as risk and issues logs, GANTT charts and project plans.

Whilst not essential, you will have a project management background with a good understanding of linear (Waterfall) and iterative (Agile) techniques. However, you will be given the opportunity to learn and develop this knowledge.

You will have strong inter-personal and organisations skills and experience, strong negotiating and influencing skills and be able to work in a solutions-focussed way, collaborating well with others.

You will be able to understand and identify the priorities for the Fund which will deliver against the Fund’s goals.
