You will be responsible for providing technical support to the pension's administration team and supporting parties, ensuring all SLA's and compliance measures are achieved for calculation and discretion tasks. Supporting all processes to maintain compliance and minimise escalations and complaints. Completing QA checks on colleague communications from a pension technical and legislative perspective. In this role you will also carry out training with the team, and support the team with their PMI examinations.

In your core function as technical expert for the Scheme, you will keep constantly up to date with current statutory regulations. Owning implementation of cyclical activities and notifiable events such as; 1/4ly HMRC reports, Event Reports, etc. You will already have experience of complex technical calculations and legislation for high earners - up to date knowledge of current and emerging UK pension's legislation.

This exciting role is perhaps wider than your average pension's technical role and will see you get involved with all areas of the pension department, not just administration. Your knowledge will enable you to provide support and help with testing for systems development and other projects. You will take the initiative to improve processes and drive efficiencies wherever possible.

Joining at a time when our client is also making three other newly created internal appointments within pensions systems, you will be a valued and respected advisor in all things pensions technical and truly get involved in helping make change and improvement for the long-term health of this very large in-house scheme.
