Company would consider employing someone on a 4-day per week basis if they were confident the individual could undertake the role in 4 days and achieve all job description requirements.
One day per week home working is also possible for this role.
36-hour working week. Flex hours are allowed from 08.00am to 6.00pm.

In this newly created level of role you will focus on developing and maintaining the Pension's Pension Administration system whilst performing cyclical tasks and ad hoc system projects. Delivering an excellent colleague experience and ensuring continuous improvement. As the senior person in the team you will compliment another new more junior role and existing role, and be joining at an exciting time for the new systems team!

This is an exciting role dealing with maintenance, development and configuration of the pension administration systems and implementing a robust testing strategy, ensuring the highest quality assurance standards. Investigating and resolving system issues, capturing system change requirements. Systems testing, peer review and sign-off duties (including test matrices and error logs). Liaising with software developers, third party providers and scheme advisors. Liaising with internal systems teams and administration teams - interpreting pensions' technical documentation, legislation and data to produce detailed technical specifications. Delivering system and administration projects (e.g. Pension increases, Benefit Reports, other ad hoc projects).

Your expertise will be in calculations, processes (workflow), document generation, data reporting, extraction and analysis. To undertake this role you will need both past pension system administration experience and pension experience (Defined Benefit Schemes ideally) to understand what the system needs to do, and ensure this happens. You will have system testing experience and UAT, experience of data manipulation and complex technical benefit calculations and system solutions/processes.
