In this permanent full-time project role (ideally a few days on site but this is negotiable and can be discussed depending on circumstances and role) you will be managing multiple (and sometimes interrelated) pension's projects at the same time, both one-off projects and annual tasks, preparing project plans, monitoring actions, chairing calls/meetings, driving forwards, monitoring budgets.

You will get to work with multiple internal parties involved in projects to identify solutions, which meets all their requirements and persuading them of the way forward; with external suppliers, including scoping work and negotiating fees.

You'll also be identifying risks, interdependencies, challenges, and solving if possible or referring upwards, and identifying downstream admin challenges from change projects.

All this means you will be up to date with pension's legislation/requirements and how they impact projects and routine work and challenge existing processes and practices and explore/propose alternatives. You will be someone who enjoys planning, governance, reporting, communication, budgetary and delivery disciplines ensuring delivery to quality, time and cost requirements. You will also enjoy developing relationships with providers and all parties involved in each project, and be good at processes, finding resolutions, making changes, and reporting.

This role is permanent, so perhaps you are already a specialist project manager in a permanent role seeking a new fresh set of projects and challenge, or a contractor who in these changing times would like more job security and a full-time permanent role for the future. Whatever your background, if you are a pension's project specialist, do please get in touch ASAP.
