You will be a Pensions Specialist at Manager level able to work from home for a six-month contract with responsibility for two more junior team members, whilst reporting to your manager when required, as you undertake your core function, to ensure the ongoing service delivery of the outsourced UK Pension Schemes.

You will have undertaken a similar role, and be able to manage relationships with third party administration providers, producing papers and reporting on the administration function and operational issues at trustee meetings (video at this time), hopefully ensuring standards are retained or improved alongside processes.

Linked to this role you will be pensions technically competent and up to date with current legislation/UK government regulations, and as and when required report the need for operational solutions to legislative change. You will manage risk and ensure compliance.

You will be able to deal with multiple tasks and priorities, and enjoy helping your team whenever needed. You will be able to forge good relationships with internal and external parties, and your communication skills will also extend to not just people but written communications via the company internal intranet and other online mediums/systems.

As this contract is working from home you can be based anywhere in the UK.*
*The client will eventually be seeking a permanent post-holder for this role. If you could see yourself in the role permanently, please do check that when the pensions team eventually go back on site (likely to be 2-3 days on site/2-3 days' work from home) you are able to reach their office location. If you are only seeking contract work, the location does not matter.
