Our client is looking for a talented and ambitious Pension Operations Manager to take on a DB/DC role within the in house pensions' team. In this role you will focus primarily on operational delivery, working as part of the pensions' management team, whose role is to manage the company's portfolio. With the diversity and complexity of the schemes, combined with continual change resulting from business growth and contract mobilisation/demobilisation, means that the role may feel more like a very dynamic, multi-client consulting position. Key responsibilities will be, implementing and maintaining policies, projects, payroll administration and ensuring legislative compliance, managing a small team, providing guidance to HR, local managers and scheme members. You will deliver presentations & training; draft employee communications; and set specifications for administrative processes or software configuration. To be considered for this role, you must be PMI (or working towards) with DB and DC experience within either specialist consulting or an in-house environment, exposure to scheme administration (ideally including public sector) and a good understanding of UK legislation and regulatory requirements including automatic enrolment. Depending on location, some home working may be available, but with a regular pattern of 2-3 days a week spent with the pension administration team in the Lancashire or Merseyside office and other company sites across the UK.
