As the manager for Employer Engagement, you will be responsible for leadership to the employer engagement team to ensure an innovative, supportive and best in class service is delivered to the Funds circa 140 scheme employers.
The Fund, currently valued at £4.5bn, endeavours to develop and nurture the teams’ skills and abilities and is constantly striving to improve the service to its scheme employers and pension members. The post will also be part of the management team to ensure the service is developed to meet the changing legislative requirements and to provide support to Fund projects.
A key project for the team currently is progressing in the onboarding of i-Connect, a monthly data interface portal, to all scheme employers. We are also looking at rolling out training to employer organisations to enhance knowledge of the scheme and planning for retirement.
To excel in this role, you will need to be an experienced Pension Professional, ideally with knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). You will be an experienced manager and able to take on the strategic leadership for the team and drive forward service changes and improvements.
We are looking for candidates who have a passion for customer service and service delivery improvements who can demonstrate the following key criteria:
• Pensions and or actuarial experience at management level.
• The ability to analyse, understand and interpret written guidance, policies and procedures and make sound judgement on pensions related issues.
• Ability to engage and develop professional relationships with a wide range of organisations and officers.
• The ability to develop practical and creative solutions to manage emerging issues.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
