You will be someone who enjoys pension administration work, in particular the personal touch and employee interaction that comes from working for an in-house pension department but would like to do more within your role at the same time. The pension administration for this small to medium in-house pension scheme is the main part of this role, but how do you fancy one day per week focusing your talents elsewhere and helping with a variety of pension's projects? Sound appealing, challenging, exciting and like that extra something that is missing from your role right now? This is your chance at the end of the year to look back and know your projects have made a difference to the in-house pension's team and pension provision to members, and what you do each week really does make a difference.

Helping with the administration of 3 legacy DB schemes and 1 DC scheme, you will be given the chance to develop and mould this role as you undertake it, ensuring it fits into the department, and with others in the team/department around you. You will already be a competent pension's administrator, at a 'hands on' administration level, dealing with both manual and computer calculations (not simply offering verbal advice and guidance). You will be able to peer review colleagues' work in this area and enjoy being part of a team. You may have already done some project work in your previous roles? Pensions or otherwise? Perhaps data analysis for example? This will have given you the ability to prioritise short and long-term, work on your own initiative and meet any deadlines you or your line manager set for project completion. You will be a self-starter, proactive and keen.

The role would suit a current pension administrator looking for a job opportunity to increase their exposure to a wide range of pension administration projects and would suit a pension's administrator who can work on their own initiative. Within this super role you will also have the chance for exposure to Trustees, Pensions Finance and Pensioner Payroll.

This role is SOLE AGENCY with Abenefit2u, so why not get in touch ASAP, and be one of the first candidates we present to our client.
