Experienced Pension Fund Accountant is required for this prestigious and growing independent pensions firm.

The Payroll, Accounts and Treasury function all play a vital part in the full service offering to the Pension Scheme Trustees. Due to an impending retirement and further planned expansion, a Pension Accountant is required to join and take on a leadership role within the team.

The role involves both coordinating the production of the annual pension scheme report and financial statements across the national team and maintaining direct responsibility for producing the accounts for a portfolio of pension schemes and assisting with internal and external audits.

You will possess strong technical pensions accounting knowledge, complimented (ideally) by an accountancy qualification and have the ability to take leadership responsibility within an established team whilst driving the department forward.
