We are seeking an experienced pension professional to join a Trustee team and provide support to the Board Trustees on a variety of corporate pensions boards, with a bias towards DB pensions. You will have an excellent understanding of UK pension's legislation supported by a recognised professional qualification. Your role will be to work with Trustees, and consider key decisions being made, and at times challenge these to ensure they meet the industry standard and provide a clear audit trail for compliance purposes. This position will suit someone from a pension's technical, legal or consultative background. The role will at times incorporate some secretariat duties and attendance of Trustee meetings to interact and provide support on complex matters and decisions. Experience of investment management sections or scheme discontinuance would be preferred but not essential. We are seeking someone who will ensure compliance at all times, understand and manage Governance and ensure action points are being completed by the Trustees. In return you will be working in a professional team environment, working on an impressive portfolio of clients, and you will be fully supported to develop your career, sit professional qualifications and receive a comprehensive benefits package.
