Are you available shortly to work on this exciting and challenging role, which will see you manage the forthcoming buy-out of this UK pension scheme?

In this contract role, which could last up to 2 years, you will be working with various internal stakeholders, as well as external advisers. As the project manager for this transaction, you will ensure each milestone is successfully reached in the timescales laid out. You will be working very closely with the Pensions Director though you will have the responsibility to lead this project to ensure it is a success for all parties.

The quality of the data is clearly an important factor in this project so you should be an expert in working with administrators and other advisers in ensuring the scheme's data and benefits are correct, which will of course include GMP equalisation. Matching scheme rules and amendments, which over time lead to complex benefit structures, with what the administrator is paying out will also be a requirement.

You will ideally have previous experience in managing this type of buy-out project and have the excellent communication skills to lead conversations with advisers, as well as provide expert guidance and support to the Trustees.

This role will be predominately home-based though meetings with various parties will be required so some travel is expected.
