Pension Fund Representative
PO1/PO2: £31,346 pa - £35,745 pa
2 x 37 hours per week

The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

As a Pension Fund Representative you will join our small team of Pension Fund Representatives who work both individually and collectively to ensure that employers and members get detailed information about the pension scheme and the best possible service from WYPF.
Our Pension Fund Representatives visit employers regularly, travelling throughout the UK, dealing with employer representatives at all levels. They regularly provide training and make presentations to employers and members, explaining complex pension scheme issues in a simple manner.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are therefore essential. You will also have a thorough, well-organised and professional approach to work, with strong individual and team work skills.
As a minimum you will also:
• have 3 years' experience of pension scheme administration with at least 1 year of Local Government Pension Scheme experience;
• experience of giving presentations or talking to large groups of people,
• hold a professional pensions qualification (IPPM, PMI) or equivalent.
