Pension Scheme Investments are complex, e.g. Private Debt, Liability Strategies, and you will enjoy challenges within your role, whilst always looking to improve on and make processes more efficient and contain good financial control. Part of your role will be to review the investment accounting and property accounting outsourcing checks and journals carried out by the Pension Project and Investment Fund Accountant, and you will have the confidence and experience to deputise for the Finance & Investment Operations Manager in their absence.

You will have significant experience of pensions accounting and application of SORP, and an understanding of different types of pension scheme investments and the accounting standards for each. You will have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and an accounting system, our client uses Aviary, but it is not essential to have worked on this system to undertake the role.
