Reporting to the Head of Pensions Fund Accounts you will ensure all pension schemes comply with statutory reporting and Trustee reports and accounts are signed off. Main duties will include preparing monthly pension payrolls, prepare control accounts to reconcile all nominals to SORP reports, cross referencing to all independent supporting documentation ready for the annual review and sign off by the Head of Accounts. Other responsibilities will include financial control management, IAS19 disclosures, risk management and Trustee preparation papers. To be considered for this role, you will have significant experience of pensions accounting and application of SORP, a strong understanding of different types of pension scheme investments, demonstrate a methodical approach and possess excellent communication skills.
