When your passion becomes your job… love sport, love payroll, love pensions? In this exciting role you can indulge in all three! This is an amazing opportunity to work for this well-known organisation steeped in history and tradition, whose main period of the year is across the glorious English summer time, when days can be so exciting you will never want to stop for tea.

As part of a small friendly in-house team you will work closely with senior colleagues and external suppliers in the processing of all payroll and pension's transactions, ensuring queries from members, trustees and other stakeholders are answered promptly and accurately.

To be a success in this role you will have gained basic to intermediate level prior experience in both payroll and pensions in-house administration (not hands on for the pensions, this is outsourced, you will be the middle party), ensuring new employees are correctly on-boarded and that leavers are managed and communicated to, working closely with the pension providers for both the DB and DC elements of the arrangements. With a basic grounding in technical knowledge of UK payroll and pension's legislation, alongside strong Excel and analytical skills, this is a highly rewarding role where you never know who is going to pop in and ask for help on their pension or whose pension's payroll you might be processing!
