This is your chance to move onwards within your career in occupational pensions, and become a valued member of a small in-house pension department of three. As the second person down (or up!) in the team, you are about to take on a diverse, challenging and exciting role.

You will have responsibility for the DC Schemes for UK and Ireland and the existing DB Ireland plans, take the lead role in key projects, support the UK and Ireland Pension Manager, ensure governance compliance and provide technical support to the in-house team and trustee board.

You will also be required to prepare and present meeting papers for the Trustee (not in Secretary to the Trustee capacity) along with other meetings, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and undertake responsibility for Trustee governance reporting tasks and training.

This position involves management of strategic pension projects, and as such if you wish to take/complete extra study, the company will encourage PMI exams or taking Prince II. They are keen for you to have a long and fruitful career with them. Previous post-holders have stayed with the company for many many years. This is a very happy and productive pensions department.

Experience gained within the pensions industry so far will ideally involve working on the management of both DC and DB pension arrangements, member communications and working collaboratively with Trustee bodies and Company representatives. Our client will offer 60/40 working from office/home and flexibility wherever they can. Their new office opening October 2020 is by the rail station or you can drive/cycle to work.
