This is a varied role which involves a fantastic mix of Pensions alongside technical and consultancy skills. You will implement a range of different solutions for customers, each with their own bespoke requirements. These solutions range from routines that help customers to calculate their members’ benefits and programs for loading and validating data, to automated reports to help customers manage and monitor their services. You will be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of implementation, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, delivery, and post-implementation support.

As an Implementation Consultant, you will be a key member of the calculations team where you will be effectively designing, developing, and delivering solutions for new and existing customers.

Our client’s culture nurtures continuous improvement and you will be able to put your own footprint on where they are going next, and what tools and processes they should make use of in the future.

This will be a hybrid working role with ideally 2 or 3 days per month in the office and the rest working from home, as well as the occasional client visit.

We are seeking someone with a good understanding of occupational pensions (public sector schemes would be an advantage) and excellent client relationship skills. Intermediate to Advanced Excel is important. Prior knowledge of system implementation is ideal but applicants with a desire to move into this type of specialism would also be considered.
