The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

This is a key role where you will provide leadership and direction to WYPF along with expert guidance and advice in providing support and development of a fully integrated pensions administration and Investments systems.
You will work strategically and manage a series of stakeholders, including the Senior Management team, External clients, Internal Investment Team and Employers within the Pension Fund on the development of an innovative ICT and digital strategy and the deployment of digital solutions within the business to identify opportunities to drive performance.
You will manage, lead, plan and develop the Projects, Communications and IT team and its partners and clients to ensure delivery of projects in a timely efficient manner.
You will have:
• At least 10 years experience working in a pensions environment at a senior management level in a complex organisation.
• With a track record of managing and developing professional ICT Services and budgets, you must be capable of acting as the organisation’s specialist in Digital, ICT, data quality and digital inspired business insight and demonstrate highly developed project management skills
• Substantial proven leadership and a record of successful management at a senior level within a multi-disciplinary public or private sector organisation. This also entails having gained experience of participation in and successful contribution to the strategic decision making process of a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
• Senior managerial experience of successful resource management, and the delivery and measurement of cost effective, qualitative services.
• A successful record of managing change in a large multi-disciplinary organisation including developing, leading and implementing strategies and initiatives.
• A relevant degree or a recognised pensions qualification or in an IT related discipline, or equivalent
• Experience to manage and motivate your team to deliver strategic objectives and exceptional results.
• Strong influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills are also vital for this role.
