With a background ideally working in B2C SME’s within financial services, you will utilise your excellent knowledge in a new role working for this growing pension’s company at a non-executive director level.

Your main role will be to provide strategic guidance and oversight for the successful coordination of technology and the application development strategy to meet the overall business objectives. You will also be supporting the development and implementation of the technology strategies and architectural frameworks.

Key responsibilities will include strategic planning, which will incorporate the development and maintenance of the organisation's enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives. With regards to its technology road map, you will create and manage this in conjunction with the Head of IT, which outlines the direction for all technology systems, applications and platforms. Furthermore, with solution design you will recommend new technology solutions to improve the service, efficiency, scalability and innovation.

To be a success in this vital role your skill sets will include detailed knowledge of, and experience with, enterprise architecture frameworks, proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and the ability to design and implement cloud-based solutions. You will also be able to demonstrate your deep understanding of data modelling, data integration and data governance principles.

Exposure to and good working knowledge of AI and Data Analytics platforms alongside evidence of managing high performing teams, embracing continuous improvement and staff development will stand you out from the crowd.
