RPMI Railpen has announced three new hires within its private markets team.
The investment manager has appointed James Tselentis as senior investment manager, and James Turner and Robert Hayward as investment managers. Turner and Tselentis will report to investment director, Andrea Ash, while Hayward will report to investment director Richard Moon. The trio bring a range of experience to the team, including actuarial skills, investment experience and private debt expertise.
The Investing and Saving Membership Alliance (Tisa) has appointed Steven Cameron as retirement policy council chair.
Cameron, currently Aegon UK’s public affairs director, will take over the role from Jamie Jenkins who has now completed his term in the position. Cameron brings over 35 years’ of financial services experience to the role. The retirement policy council are tasked with ensuring policy is developed to support good member outcomes and ensure adequate savers among consumers, with a current focus on developing auto-enrolment contributions to encourage larger pension pots amongst savers.
Kempen has appointed Julie Alexander as a business development director.
Alexander joined the team in December with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Prior to this, Alexander worked for 12 years at Willis Towers Watson as a senior investment consultant, previously she also held roles at Coal Pension Trustee Services and Barclays Capital. This is the latest in a succession of senior appointments by Kempen.
