Appointments update 18 June 2021

British Airways (BA) Pensions has appointed Vinny Ehzuvan as CEO.

Ehzuvan initially joined BA Pensions as as chief operating officer in April 2018, and is expected to bring continuity to the CEO role, having been identified as an "outstanding candidate" to takeover following the departure of Fraser Smart. Prior to this, Ehzuvan held various senior executive positions at both Aon and Xerox, having most recently acted as Xerox Europe managing director, total benefits outsourcing.

HSBC Master Trust has announced the appointment of Paul McBride as chief operating officer.

In his new role, McBride will be responsible for the master trust’s day-to-day operations, including the development and management of the digital provision. He will be based in London, reporting to HSBC Retirement Services Limited (HRSL) CEO, Alison Hatcher. McBride brings over 30 years of experience to the role, joining from Capita, where he spent five years as head of risk and governance for the Atlas Master Trust.

Spence & Partners have named Susan Greenwood as senior investment consultant.

Greenwood brings over 20 years’ experience working in the investment consultancy industry to the role, and joins from Mercer, where she was a principal investment consultant. Prior to this, she also held investment consulting roles at Buck Consultants and Aon. In her new role, Greenwood will assist in the management of, and provision of services to, the group’s investment consultancy clients, and is expected to “significantly support” in the expansion of the provider's investment consulting provision.
