Appointments update 18 July 2022

2020 Trustees has announced the appointment of Nicola Paul as a trustee director.

Paul, who will be based in the Glasgow office, joins with more than 30 years of experience, having served a wide range of trustee and corporate clients for companies such as XPS Pensions Group, PwC and Aon Hewitt. She joins from Gemmels Financial Services, where she worked as a senior actuary and investment consultant.

The Pension Scams Industry Group (PSIG) has named Christine Sawyer as chair of its Pension Scams Industry Forum (PSIF).

Sawyer, who is currently Invensys Pension Trustee Limited scheme manager, has over 20 years’ experience in the pensions industry, including as a pensions administrator, pensions consultant, and head of business quality. She will take over the role from Tommy Burns, who has held the position since its inception, although Burns will remain in his role as deputy chair of PSIG.

Canada Life has appointed Cath Goddard as head of data, insight and customer relationship management (CRM).

Goddard has over 25 years’ experience working in data science and insight led roles, including over 20 years of experience specifically in pensions, retirement and equity release. She joins from Aviva, where she was head of data, insight and planning, and led customer segmentation, econometrics, customer-led proposition build & innovation for the business.
