Are you a Project Manager (ideally in the field of Occupational Pensions Provision), able to work from home 1 day per week for the next 12 months (6-month commitment minimum) and available now or from September 2019 onwards?

If yes, our small niche highly successful and dynamic client would like your kind assistance. They have an innovative project, with a new client offering not seen as a package before, therefore you will have not seen it before either, and will enjoy being part of a challenging project that will stretch all parties, hence they need you! You will be the project manager, you will not be undertaking any of the pensions and related functions, e.g. scheme mergers, getting insurance market buy out quotes, you will be there to work with the 20+ stakeholders working on the project, checking once a week they are on track, and that all deliverables will be met at every stage of the project time line.

You will be heavily supported throughout the project by other parties to make sure things get done when you are not there, but you must be a strong project manager, able to keep all parties updated on progress, and the project plan regularly updated and most of all on track, to deliver successfully by desired deadlines.

This role is outside IR35, and Contractors can discuss with the client what day per week they are required, which may vary, but will need to be a weekday to speak to stakeholders. Please note that you will need to visit the London office at the start of the project, to meet Stakeholders and understand their requirements. Once you have designed your detailed project plan, and have buy-in from the company, you will work with all the relevant parties to implement it, but this does not need to be on site, and thereafter you can work from home, with the exception of the odd meeting. The client would expect that you would use your own home resources (lap top/office, etc.), and have costed your expenses into one single day rate. The company operate a secure cloud-based system, you will have your own secure login. You will be Prince 2 qualified and have undertaken numerous high profile projects, preferably in the pensions sector.
