The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority is the regulatory body for the financial sector in the Isle of Man and regulates firms that are engaged in a range of financial activities, including insurance, pensions, banking, fiduciary services, fund administration and management and investment advice and management. It also provides AML oversight to the Designated Businesses.
PENSIONS SPECIALIST
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Authority for the role of Pensions Specialist, sitting across the Policy and Authorisations and Supervision Divisions. The successful candidate will provide assistance to identify and prepare policy recommendations across all areas of regulated activity, but with specific focus on pensions. In addition, as part of the Pension Supervision team, they will undertake effective and efficient supervision of retirement benefits schemes, retirement benefit administrators and scheme trustees in the Isle of Man.
The postholder will have extensive working knowledge of the pension sector and associated legislation, regulation and guidance, including interaction with broader finance industry and experience interpreting and/or developing policy frameworks and formulating solutions by way of legislation, policies, procedures and guidance. A relevant professional qualification and the ability to work under pressure, manage a workload of varied complexity, to manage competing priorities and to deliver against deadlines are essential.
