An exciting opportunity to become the new Group Pensions Manager has arisen due to the retirement of the current incumbent.

The role:
∙ Oversee, maintain and develop pension strategy and ensure it is aligned with the wider group financial strategy, providing guidance on modelling on the future impact of the pension schemes on the group and the development of appropriate strategies to deliver target outcomes.
∙ Provide the full range of specialist technical advice and support to the company and Scheme Trustees, in particular, advice on risk/cost management on pension provision.
∙ Ensure that schemes operate effectively, meeting performance and quality expectations.

The person:
∙ Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate significant experience of working with both sponsoring employers and trustees on pension issues. Technically candidates should possess the APMI or equivalent qualification.
∙ You will be a strategic decision maker capable of working in collaboration with key stakeholders both internally and externally. These will include the finance and HR teams, the trustee board and external advisers.
∙ You will possess outstanding people leadership skills and be able to engage people with honesty, integrity, and enthusiasm; empowering them to succeed, even in the most challenging of situations
