PRUDENTIAL, O&M AND OBSR UNITE FOR MANAGING INVESTMENT RISK FOR RETIREMENT SEMINARS

UK-wide seminars at 11 locations in March

Prudential is to host a series of seminars, Managing Investment Risk for Retirement, themed around the subject of investment within pensions and designed specifically at financial advisers and planners at 11 locations across the UK throughout March.

The free seminars are being run in response to recent findings by
Prudential that 50 per cent of advisers would welcome support from providers on asset allocation and fund selection as they battle to cope with the fallout from recent extreme stock market volatility.

They are aimed at advisers who may want to select funds themselves or select from an independent, best buy, list of funds, subcontract out the investment work, develop their use of pension transfer systems and ensure their advice process is as robust as possible.

Representatives from O&M Systems will also be there to explain how advisers can get the best out of the profiler system, what improvements have been made and how to set up portfolios using O&M.

Prudential will also be presenting what it believes to be a new, innovative and time efficient way that advisers can match both at outset and in the future their clients’ attitude to risk, featuring a video presentation from Old Broad Street Research (OBSR).

The seminars will provide two and-a-half hours of CPD credits.

Advisers can register at www.prudentialregistration.co.uk and can email
prudential.events@prudential.co.uk for more information.
