Appointments update 21 October

• IPS Capital has appointed former Ashcourt Rowan director of intermediary services Paul Miles in the newly-created role of intermediary partnerships.

Miles has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 15 years running his own IFA firm and several years with platform provider, Selestia.

• BlueBay Asset Management has appointed Lisa Stuart as director - sales UK & Ireland

Stuart joins from BlueCrest where she worked in a number of roles culminating in consultant relations manager.

• Guy Davies has joined Heartwood Investment Management as head of charities.

Davies was most recently head of charities, trusts, and private clients at Evercore Pan-Asset. He was previously head of charities and philanthropy at Barclay’s Wealth, before which he held senior business development positions at Lazard Asset Management and Baring Asset Management.

The appointment is effective 28 October.

• ECM Asset Management has appointed Cristiano Mela as an investment analyst covering industrials.

Prior to joining ECM Mela spent six years at Deutsche Bank Corporate Investment Banking, four of which as a conflict management analyst and two as an associate in their debt capital markets and treasury solutions team.
