The Pensions Trust appoints new chief executive

The Pensions Trust has appointed Mike Ramsey as its new chief executive.

Ramsey has been acting as interim chief executive of The Pensions Trust since April this year. Prior to joining, he worked as CEO for the Barbon Insurance Group.

As part of his new role, Ramsey will be responsible for leading the trust and he will act as the main link between the trustee board and the senior management group.

Additionally, he will ensure the trust is managed in accordance with the trust deed and rules and will formulate its investment and business strategy.

“Mike brings with him years of experience and will be an invaluable part of the Trust’s continuing commitment to provide the best possible pension solutions for participating employers and members,” trustee board chair Sarah Smart said.
