The Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA) has appointed Kim Gubler to the newly created position of deputy chair.
As a founding member of PASA, Gubler is an existing board director and former chair of the joint standards and accreditation committee. She has close to 30 years’ experience within the pensions industry and has been heavily involved in establishing PASA’s accreditation process.
Gubler is recognised by The Pensions Regulator as a DC specialist and is also a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute, where she sits on the Examining Board. On her appointment, Gubler said she has always enjoyed “the challenged of developing the influence of the association” and is “honoured” to have been given the position.
“We are seeing greater demand for PASA’s voice in the industry and I look forward to using this new role as a means to support our Chair, Board and members in making PASA the ‘go-to’ for setting out and assessing good standards of administration,” she added.
In addition, PASA chair Margaret Snowdon said: “I am very pleased to announce Kim as our inaugural deputy chair. This is a new role within PASA, created to deliver against our strategy to grow membership and strengthen our role in supporting the pensions industry through lobbying and responding to consultations. Kim’s combination of industry experience and her dedication to PASA’s cause over the years made her the obvious candidate to help drive the association forwards.”
