Appointments update 7 November

Xafinity has appointed Wes Jones as head of its Manchester office.

Jones joins from Conduent HR Services where he was a principal and senior consulting actuary. He has 18 years’ experience in actuarial consulting and pensions and has served in a number of roles at firms including PwC, Mercer and three years as UK pensions manager at Tesco. At Xafinity, Wes will work in the Manchester office with existing clients and develop new business for the firm.

JLL has hired Christian Hepp as head of M&A advisory for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Hepp will also take on the role of lead director of corporate finance in JLL’s EMEA capital markets business. He will work closely with JLL’s senior leadership and sector experts across the reguion. Hepp has over 13 years’ experience, spending 10 years at JP Morgan Securities before joining JLL in 2014.

RPMI has appointed Paul Sturgess as managing director of its pensions business.

Sturgess will be responsible for RPMI’s pension administration business and will join the business in January 2018. He joins from Equiniti where he was director, private sector, responsible for clients, administration and software propositions. Sturgess’ appointments comes as part of the new leadership restructure, which sees the current deputy CEO David Maddison take on the role of managing director, scheme, where he will lead a function dedicated to supporting the RPS Trustee.
