Appointments update 18 January

Legal & General has announced the appointment of Kerrigan Procter to group chief executive director of the company.

Serving as the current CEO of Legal & General Retirement and managing director since January 2013, he will take on the new role on 9 March 2017. Procter oversees the retirement business, assisting more than one million customers achieve financial security in retirement and investments. He previously served as head of solutions at Legal & General Investment Management from 2006 to 2012 working with DB and DC schemes across Europe and the US.

BH Global Limited has appointed Julia Chapman to its board.

Chapman joins the firm with over 25 years of experience in the investment fund and capital markets sector. During this time she has served in senior roles at Simmons & Simons, Mourant Ozannes - particularly its finance administration division and as European senior counsel for State Street's alternative investment business. She left her role at State Street in 2012 to focus on independent directorship and governance of a small number of investment fund vehicles.

LEBC Group has appointed Jeremy MacLeod and Nick Flynn as managing directors.

Following a corporate restructure, MacLeod has become managing director of LEBC’s Foundation business which includes advising and servicing its bank of private and corporate clients and branch network.

Flynn has been appointed as managing director of LEBC’s The Retirement Adviser business involving DB pension scheme audits for corporations and large employers. Prior to their appointments, MacLeod was chief operating officer and Flynn was divisional director, longevity at LEBC.
