Appointments Update

Dickinson Dees, a UK law firm has promoted Tracy Walsh to partner in the firm’s pensions practice. Walsh advises on a variety of pensions issues specialising in pension aspects of corporate transactions and pension scheme mergers. She joined the company in 2006 from Lovells.

Dentons has appointed Keith Gorbutt as technical manager and will help advisers and clients in their comprehension of SIPPs and SSASs. Gorbutt has over 14 years experience in providing pension technical support and working with UK IFAs. He previously worked at James Hay and Norwich Union.

Ashurst has promoted Marcus Fink to partner in London from 1 May 2012. He has expertise in pension scheme reorganisations and mergers, deficit reduction strategies, and negotiating investment management agreements and negotiations with the Pensions Regulator and the Pensions Protection Fund.
