Your next exciting project will be to manage and deliver the 3 key projects for the company Pension Scheme to agreed statutory deadlines. As the new Pensions Project Manager you will support: 1. The implementation of the Single Code of Practice. 2. The implementation of Pensions Dashboard. 3. The implementation of GMP Equalisation.

You will identify, implement and formalise operational practices, procedures and policies that will underpin the delivery of the 3 key projects. Own an overarching plan of all the 3 projects ensuring that the Pensions Management team, Trustees and UK business have visibility of the pipeline of activity and ensure that the appropriate stakeholders are engaged in any new initiatives, whilst working with the outsourced providers of the 2 smaller DB Schemes to ensure their successful delivery of the 3 projects for these Schemes. You will also work closely with the Pensions Technical Team Manager, Pensions Administration Team and Finance Managers to ensure projects are successfully completed and coordinate Pension team activity to ensure the successful implementation of any new process changes that are introduced as a result of the projects.

You will be able to make informed strategic decisions when considering the 3 projects, and will be responsible for pension's operational audit requirements, preparing and keeping accurate budgets in relation to the 3 key projects, and preparing and presenting regular updates of the 3 projects to Trustees and the business. You will already possess pension's project management skills and a good knowledge of pension's legislation and applying this in a practical manner, alongside also using data to determine process improvement. You will have the ability to work in a matrix structure and build effective relationships with senior managers/stakeholders.

Joining a friendly in-house team, we believe you will really enjoy this long-term 18-month contract. Working mainly from home other than when required to attend either the Head Office (Salford) or other sites for meetings (usually London). Please get in touch ASAP for a full information pack and/or to apply to your next contract that will keep you busy until mid-2025.
