Reporting to the Pensions Director you will play a key role in leading operational development and change to this large in house pensions department. This is a new role, responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, working through collaboration to enable the fund to deliver evolving services and developments required to meet and exceed objectives set within the Fund Service Plan. The successful applicant will join the Senior Management Team and be directly responsible for delivery of pension benefit operations and system and technical support functions. You will work across service areas to ensure implementation of operational change, compliance and risk management. Applicants must have strong relationship management skills and an ability to work closely with a wide variety of partners and stakeholders, contributing and raising the professional profile of the Fund, participating in seminars, conferences, forums etc. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership at a senior management level and will be able to demonstrate a track record of leading, motivating and managing people and systems to achieve significant, sustainable service improvements with outstanding results. You will have significant experience in pensions' operations management and ideally have progressed to APMI status.
