Lancashire County Council, as administering authority of Lancashire County Pension Fund (LCPF), is seeking an Independent Investment Adviser following one of the Independent Investment Advisers leaving at the end of March 2024. This role is to provide strategic advice to its Pension Fund Committee and Investment Panel.

LCPF is one of the largest funds within the Local Government Pension Scheme, with assets of over £11bn, and provides a means of pension savings for approximately 190,000 members and 300 employers. Assets of the Fund are managed by the Local Pensions Partnership Investments Limited, a venture between LCPF, Lancashire County Council and London Pensions Fund Authority.

The appointment will be effective from May 2024 and is made in advance of the stepping down of one of the Fund’s two current advisers in March 2024.

An information pack relating to this appointment can be found on the LCPF by clicking here, along with guidance on how to apply. Any questions should be directed to Sean Greene, Head of Fund, sean.greene@lancashire.gov.uk

The closing date for applications is Monday 5th April 2024. Interviews are expected to be held in April 2024.
