Speaker Profile: Dr Volker Flögel

Dr Volker Flögel, CFA, Senior Associate Partner, has worked for Quoniam Asset Management since 2006 and is the team manager of the equities division research group. In his previous consultancy role at alpha portfolio advisors, his main duties were manager selection and measurement of institutional investors’ transaction costs. After studying business administration at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) in Munich, Germany, Volker did a doctorate on the microstructure of capital markets at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany, in 2006. He has been a CFA charterholder since 2010.
