Kingston upon Thames pension scheme appoints Aon Hewitt

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames pension fund has appointed Aon Hewitt as its investment consultant.

The scheme is worth around £430m and Aon Hewitt will carry out a review of the fund's investment strategy, following its appointment through the Croydon Framework, an agreement that aims to deliver greater savings and efficiency in the public sector.

Aon Hewitt principal consultant and head of the public sector investment team Emily McGuire said: “We have been growing our public sector client base over the last few years and are delighted that the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames has become the latest to appoint us. Our first task will be to help the panel to determine their long-term investment strategy and we look forward to playing a leading role in the fund’s future success.”
