TACT chooses new Pensions Committee chair

Esther White has been appointed as chair of The Association of Corporate Trustees (TACT) Pensions Committee.

The HR Trustees Limited director will take over from Graham Withers, who was in the role for three years.

The TACT Pensions Committee has representatives from all leading corporate trustees of occupational pension schemes. They are trustees of around £100bn of pension funds with 1.25 million members in benefit. They represent around ten per cent of the occupational sector.

White hopes to raise awareness of the role and views of corporate trustees and issues that they face via dialogue with other pension industry groups and government bodies.
