Small pension schemes to benefit from new online analytics platform

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has announced that it is to launch an online analytics and monitoring platform in partnership with PensionsFirst which will help small schemes looking to implement scheme-specific investment strategies.

The bespoke investment strategies that small schemes are now adopting require more frequent reporting, improved risk analysis, the ability to assess a variety of investment options and the capability to monitor the effectiveness of chosen strategies on a regular basis.

LGIM aims to begin a pilot of the analytics platform with pension schemes and their investment advisers in the first quarter of this year.
