PPF appoints new executive director

The Pension Protection Fund (PPF) has appointed chief financial officer Andy McKinnon as an executive director to its board.

McKinnon deals with the organisation's financial systems and controls and valuation of its investment portfolio. He is also responsible for the development and strategies of the PPF.

As an executive director he will help ensure that the PPF continues to deliver financial security for hundreds of thousands of scheme members across the UK.

McKinnon commented: “I am very much looking forward to playing an integral role on the PPF board, particular at this important time when the organisation is set to become the equivalent of one of the largest pension funds in the UK and a lifeline for so many people.”
