News in brief, mandates and product launches from this week

John Lewis Partnership Pensions Trust has appointed Pramerica Real Estate Investors to manage and expand its portfolio of UK property investments. Pramerica has more than £950m of assets and commitments in the UK for both UK and international clients.

State Street Global Advisors has completed the development of its UK LDI Fund range following regulatory approval for 22 Leveraged Swap funds. Of the 22 funds, nine were Leverage Interest Rate Swap funds, nine were Leverage Real Rate Swap funds and four were Leveraged Inflation Rate Swap funds. The announcement follows the launch of 10 Leveraged Gilt funds in April.

TT International, a UK based high-alpha specialist offering long only and hedge fund strategies, has adopted the MSCI Europe ex UK Index as the benchmark for the TT Europe ex UK Equity Fund. TT International already uses a wide range of MSCI Indices as benchmarks for its funds, including the MSCI EAFE, MSCI ACWI ex US, MSCI World ex US, MSCI Emerging Markets, MSCI Europe and MSCI AC Asia ex Japan indices.
