News in brief, mandates and product launches from this week

LV= has added seven new funds to those available through its Flexible Transitions Account. The new funds are the Fidelity Multi Asset Allocator Balanced, the Fidelity Multi Asset Allocator Defensive, the Fidelity Multi Asset Allocator Growth, the Threadneedle Global Equity Income, the Threadneedle UK Equity Alpha Income, the Threadneedle European Select and the Threadneedle Defensive Equity & Bond.

Selectapension has enhanced its online calculators allowing advisers to run RDR-friendly pension switching analyses for the first time. The enhancements allow reports to be run with a variety of premium and fund-based charging structures when performing transfers for money purchase, defined benefits, provider comparison and income drawdown.

F&C has achieved PLATINUM in Business in the Community’s (BITC) 2012 Corporate Responsibility Index (CRI). F&C now has integrated corporate responsibility (CR) into its business model and clear CR processes operating throughout its businesses.
