News in brief w/c 4 February

LV= has launched the ‘Retirement Centre’, a microsite created to provide advisers with practical and technical support for their business. The site features downloadable guides which contain technical information that advisers need to be aware of when discussing how clients structure their retirement.

The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) has announced that the number of individuals to sign up to undertake its new certificate in Pensions Automatic Enrolment has passed the 250 total since being launched in October 2012.

LV= is hosting a series of 30 pension seminars across the country providing advisers with in depth information on pension legislation changes, and what it means for them and their clients. The sessions run until 26 February and will focus on the changes to the annual allowance, and how the carry forward rule and pension input periods can be used to ensure clients make the most of their pension planning.
