Appointments update 30 April

Tikehau Group has appointed Debra Anderson within its private debt business to expand the firm’s credit business on a pan-European basis.

Prior to this, she worked as a senior managing director at Blackstone/GSO where she established and managed Blackstone’s European CLO business and co-managed GSO’s European customised credit strategies business.

MyCSP has appointed Equiniti CEO Guy Wakeley as a non-executive director.

Wakeley joined the board of Equiniti Group as a chief executive officer in January 2014.

He joins the firm from Morrison plc, where he was CEO for five years. Prior to this, he was worked for Amey, The Berkeley Group, General Electric and Rolls-Royce.

Aon Hewitt has made three new appointments to its Swedish pensions team.

The new hires are Oscar Alm, Jonas Gyllenkrook and Carita Opseth who have all joined from Swedish occupational pensions provider Alecta. Collectively, the team will focus on corporate clients and occupational pension plans.

Schroders has appointed Alex Tedder as head of global equities.

Tedder will be responsible for the global and international equities team’s business management and strategic planning, as well as leading the team and driving the development of the team’s franchise.

He will join the firm in June 2014 from American Century Investments, where he was senior vice president and co-head of global and non-US large cap strategies.

Buck Consultants has announced two senior appointments:

John Deacon has been appointed head of corporate solutions. He joins from Helm Godfrey where he was director and head of Helm corporate. Prior to this, he held the role of head of employee benefits at Truestone and lead contract-based DC solutions for Hymans Robertson.

Ed Smithson will report to Deacon and have responsibility for all aspects of Buck’s flex and share plan services. He also joins from Helm Godfrey, where he was deputy head of Helm corporate.
