Appointments Update

Ignis Asset Management has announced the appointment of Mira Bhogaita to its UK equity team as a portfolio manager. She has over eight years’ investment experience, including most recently as a portfolio manager at LV= Asset Management (LVAM). She managed the UK equity portolfio of the LV= Group Pension Scheme from August 2009 to August 2011. She began her career at Deutsche Asset Management as a UK equity analyst in 2003. In 2005, she then took up a role as a global analyst at Newton Investment Management before joining Credit Suisse Asset Management.

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has announced the appointment of Herschel Pantas as UK and European Consultant Relations Manager. Herschel joins from Towers Watson where he was an investment consultant responsible for advising UK and European institutional clients on issues including LDI, governance and diversification.

Partnership, a provider of enhanced and long term care annuities, has appointed Lee Blackwell as head of PR. Blackwell has almost 15 years of agency experience. Partnership has also appointed Caroline Jackson as public affairs manager who has significant experience in Parliament, government and with representative bodies.

Legal & General Investment Management has announced the appointment of Siobhan Boylan as chief financial officer subject to regulatory approval. Boylan joins LGIM from Aviva North America (ANA) where she was previously chief financial officer (CFO) based in Chicago. Prior to this she held a number of senior finance roles within the Aviva Group and was CFO of Aviva Investors from 2007-2011.
